Queer (by the dictionary): bold or daring, brave, original, unrestrained by existing ideas or conventions, uninhibited...

Moi-meme... hmm..let's see... I am me. I dislike talking about myself, it makes me feel egotistical. So I'll just put in somethings that friends said about me... According to them I'm a Warrior Angel here to Liberate Oppressed Peoples (I love that mental picture):

"She is independent in a very literal sense- her sense of Self doesn’t seem to depend in any way on others’ judgements- she is genuine and authentic. She is very dedicated to her beliefs, and very hard-working, in terms of the concrete, pragmatic things that in reality are the stuff of social change/movement. In the same way she is dedicated to her people-friends, family, loved ones. While she is very understated about her emotions (and divining her thoughts nears impossibility), she is always willing to show the concern and spend the time to be a great friend.
Billybob is strong and secure, but also steadfast and kind. She is a very open person, interested in new ideas, cultures, languages, and so on. She is also interested in social justice. When there is oppression, hatred, or suffering, she looks for the deeper root causes, and sets about doing what she can, in concrete, real steps, to solve the problem. Her intelligence, instead of making her cynical, informs her compassion. Her compassion is expressed in working for social justice, but also in simple kindness and generosity to people around her. I’ve found her to be a wonderful friend, and a great person to work with."

"If I had to describe Billybob in one word, I'd have to say "dedicated". When she sets her mind to do something, she gets it done; and she gets it done well. This in part is helped by her natural stubborness (which makes arguing with her practically futile unless you want your opinion changed) and unwillingness to give up on anything. She's also incredibly smart and athletic and hates being stuck in doors (of course, this situation changes completely if Alias happens to be on television, at which point the outside world vanishes and all she can think about is Sydney's new plight and Vaughn's awesome hair). *Editor's note... I have officially given up on ALIAS and Jen for obvious reasons*

Though a little rough looking on the outside, Billybob also happens to be the most caring and selfless person I know. She's helped head up a group called COLORS in our school, which is concerned with destroying racism, sexism, and helping the environment. The group has been a huge success and, despite some initial negative feedback from students, is already starting to change the vibe around the school towards one of tolerance, acceptance, and equality."

"Billybob is extremely hardworking and honest. She's not going to change for anyone. She's going to be her own person and do her own thing no matter what. To "outsiders" she may seem unsociable and quite but once you get to know her she can be loud and funny. She is such a great person to be around. She is fun and extremely intelligent and will do anything to help people. She will go above and beyond what she has to do. She is a fantastic person, she appreciates people for who they are and what they do, not what they look like or were they are from."
